I usually drink green tea but that doesn't stop me from occasionally indulging in an espresso.

I just returned from my relaxing organic facial at Oresta and I am drinking rejuvenating & restoring tea. What a lovely start to the long weekend!

She's patient, loving not to mention warm-hearted - she's a diligent Ms who always finishes what she started. Over the weekend, I ventured into an antique store and came across the largest selection of unused used books. To my surprise, I found titles that I have been eyeing every time I had stepped into Chapters. So, I loaded up my arms with stacks of books and while I maneuvered my way over to the till, I decided that this would be a good opportunity to start a Book Club. The reasoning behind this start up was that the Book Club would encourage me to read new books and it would give me the opportunity to finally host a High Tea Party. It was decided - I would have a Book Club.

The first book the Club will be reading is Elizabeth Hay's novel 'Late Nights on Air', a Canadian fiction piece awarded the Scotiabank Giller Prize.

What ever is a Ms Patio with out a Ms bar - I find the notion of a barless patio totally bazaar! With the proper tools and astute cocktail mixery - she'll be lounging patio side sipping drinks so delicious and elixiry. First and foremost she'll need an out door bevy cart - a home for all of her accouterments is the perfect place to start. Muddlers, swizzlers, juicers and shakers - are some must have tools for the true cocktail makers. She'll need glittering glasses and highballs a plenty - for a good patio party she'll need a gaggle of 'em if not twenty. A drink isn't a drink without some fancy ice - this Ms is partial to the diamond variety because it's twice as nice! She'll need a secret cocktail book that's filled with recipes so naughty - so she can reply to raving compliments by swearing she's totally self taughty. Lastly, and certainly not leastly we mustn't forget the liquor - a Ms should only stock the good stuff, too many well cocktails will make her wickedly sicker! And there you have it the Mrs patio bar necessities - all you need now are some fabulous Ms cocktail recipes!!

Good morning!

Another week is upon us and with my upcoming race date, I have taken to scheduling tasks & events in hope of feeling prepared for the run. I guess it is a silly thing to do, but the feeling of having everything organized makes me feel quite calm.

This weekend, I ran 20K to prepare - following the race route - and now my knees are quite stiff. So here I am, sipping revitalizing tea and organizing my schedule for the busy week ahead.

I have a collection of pretty perfumes scattered across my dresser and placed in front of the mirror to be put on display. Every morning I switch up the fragrance depending on my mood and often in response to the weather. When it's cold and the snow is falling, I spritz on a bold scent to liven my day. In the warmer months, I use my lights scents often mixing two together for an original fragrance.

This afternoon over a nice cup of coconut tea, I was reading through my BlackBerry notes (I was attempting to see which notes I would transfer to my new BlackBerry), when I came across my 'Summer Goals'. As I was reading through the list, I realized that the goals I had set last summer still applied to my current situation. Was it that I hadn't accomplished a single goal? Or was it simply that my goals are the same each year regardless of whether they are accomplished or not?

I came to the conclusion, that each year I always want something better than the year before - whether it be an improvement in one of the Bikram poses, a better camera (film or digital), a new reason to get my sister to visit me, or even a reason to celebrate life. Each year, my goals are specifically outlined, but over time they resemble an ideal that I had built for myself; an ideal that was fulfilled at one time or another, but now seem to require refocusing...
