As the Thanksgiving weekend approaches, I have been jumping back and forth deciding what plans I should make. This will be my first solo Thanksgiving and I’m torn as to whether I should visit friends (and their families) in varying cities or if I should embrace the quite weekend and focus on my studies. My class readings have been piling up and have become a constant looming force that has convinced me that I need to set aside some time to sit down with a pot of tea and simply read. Even though I will be reading books strictly for my classes, there is something to be said about a quite space of one’s own to go about your day as you see fit.
